Over Five years ago, I stepped into the eBike world—and honestly, it felt like trying to read signs in center field with the sun in your eyes. The online research was overwhelming. Every brand claimed to be the best. Specs sounded impressive but didn’t translate into real-world clarity. Then I visited local bike shops hoping for guidance. What I found was limited inventory, very few options under $2,000, and no opportunity to test ride. For someone ready to invest in mobility, health, and fun—it was frustrating.

So instead of complaining about it, I decided to build what I wished existed.

I committed myself to learning the industry inside and out—motors, torque sensors, battery quality, frame geometry, controller systems, real serviceability—not just what looked good on a website. Over time, I built partnerships with brands I truly believe in, including Velotric and Segway, along with several other carefully selected manufacturers that deliver real performance and long-term value.

Today, our collection has grown into something I’m genuinely proud of. Every model on our floor is there for a reason—quality construction, smart design, reliable components, and pricing that makes sense for everyday riders. Whether someone wants comfort, power, range, or style, we match them with the right ride. And unlike the experience I had starting out, we encourage test rides. You should feel the difference before you make a decision.

But the bikes are only part of the story.

We provide full-service support with every purchase. Assembly, education, maintenance, and long-term care—it all matters. When you walk out with a bike, you’re not on your own. Your satisfaction and safety come first, because this isn’t a transaction business. It’s a relationship business.

As for the name JC WAKES—it’s personal. It’s been four years since I started this journey, and the name honors two baseball coaches who had a profound impact on my life. One went by the initials JC. The other we called Wakes. They shaped my work ethic, my discipline, and the way I show up every day. Naming the business after them is my way of carrying their lessons forward.

This venture isn’t just about eBikes. It’s about building something meaningful, rooted in service, integrity, and a little competitive fire—because once you’ve played ball your whole life, you don’t know how to do anything halfway.
